teamspace

One platform for every service business

Stop juggling ten disconnected tools and integration headaches. teamspace covers the standard needs of service businesses in one system, from first lead to paid invoice.

Industries where teamspace excels

teamspace is built primarily for management consultancies and IT service providers, and additionally covers IT consultancies, systems houses, agencies as well as architecture and engineering practices with industry-specific features.

Management consultancies

Engagement structure, fee models, consultant days, utilisation across practices and offices. Core segment no. 1.

Industry page

IT service providers

Project work and ongoing operations in one system: every hour lands on the right contract, whether project, maintenance or ticket with SLAs. Core segment no. 2.

Industry page

IT consulting

Cloud, SAP, data and security engagements, skill matching, day rates, activity records per engagement.

Industry page

Systems house

Projects, managed services, tickets, maintenance contracts and licence reselling on one platform with SLAs and renewals.

Industry page

Agencies

Budget control, media planning, freelancer steering. Built for creative shops with mixed billing.

Industry page

Architecture and engineering practices

Work phases (HOAI), time banks, fixed-price contracts with change orders, travel expense billing.

Industry page

One coherent system

Lead, project, hour, invoice. All on the same data foundation.

The real leverage in teamspace is not the list of modules. It is their shared foundation. An hour booked on a project today is part of plan-vs-actual tomorrow and an invoice line the day after, with no CSV exports in between.

  • From lead to order

An accepted quote turns into a project with budget and team in one click, based on your templates.

  • From project to invoice

Tracked hours, flat rates and travel expenses flow into a draft invoice automatically. You review and send.

  • From ticket to billing

Maintenance requests are captured with effort, then either drawn from an hour pool or billed separately.

Three mini flows in a teamspace app window: an accepted quote becomes a project, hours plus flat rates plus travel become a draft invoice, a maintenance ticket is billed against an hour pool or separately.

What matters

What software for service providers has to do

Software for service providers connects the work done for clients with the way it is billed. It keeps projects, logged hours, contracts and invoices in one system, so an hour worked turns into a line on the invoice with no detour.

For project-based service firms with 5 to 250 staff, this continuity decides margin and overview. Such a system has to do five things:

  • One shared foundation: projects, time and billing interlock, with no CSV bridge between four tools.
  • Role-based visibility: leadership sees different figures than project managers or individual contributors.
  • Day-current steering: utilisation, margin and forecast are there today, not in next month's review.
  • One billing logic for everything: day rate, fixed price, flat rate and maintenance in one document workflow.
  • Developed and hosted in Germany: GDPR is part of the architecture from day one.

Connected, not scattered

Ten tools or one system.

Ten island tools

  • Copy hours from time tracking into the invoice by CSV.
  • Maintain customer data three times over: CRM, project tool and accounting.
  • Utilisation and margin only in the monthly review, from lists pieced together.
  • Every interface its own contract, its own update, its own login.
  • Tickets, projects and billing in separate systems with no shared view.
Recommended

teamspace as one system

  • Logged hours become an invoice line with no export.
  • Customer, project and staff entered once, connected across every module.
  • Utilisation, margin and forecast day-current from one source.
  • One login, one reporting layer, one permission model, no interface upkeep.
  • From ticket through project to invoice in one continuous chain.

Rollout in stages

Start with the module that hurts today.

Nobody rolls out everything at once. You activate the areas you need today and extend later. Data and configuration grow with you, a later extension is not a migration.

  • Consultancies and IT services

Time tracking, then projects, invoicing and CRM.

  • Agencies

Projects and time tracking first, then invoicing and service desk.

  • Architecture and engineering

Time tracking, projects by HOAI phases, then fee invoicing.

Three industry rows show the rollout sequence of teamspace modules: consultancies and IT services start with time tracking, then projects, invoicing and CRM; agencies with projects, time tracking, invoicing and service desk; architecture and engineering practices with time tracking, projects by HOAI phases and fee invoicing.

Frequently asked questions about the solutions

Do we have to roll out all modules at once?
No. Start with the modules you need today, then activate others later. Data and configuration scale with you, an extension is not a migration.
Can teamspace integrate with our accounting?
Yes. DATEV export for invoices and bookings is included, plus REST APIs for custom interfaces. Incoming invoices can also be passed to your finance system via DATEV or API.
Can customers interact with us through the system?
Yes, via the customer portal. Customers see open tickets, status updates, time logs and documents, password-protected and without an extra licence.
How long does rollout take?
Initial setup takes a few days. Data migration from existing systems is handled by our customer success team, optionally as a fixed price. Most teams are productive within 4 to 6 weeks.
What does teamspace cost?
Prices are annual, per active user per month. Half-yearly (+10%), quarterly (+15%) or monthly (+20%) terms are also available. No setup fee. Notice period: 3 months on an annual term, 1 month on a monthly term. We work out the right edition for your size and industry in the 15-minute call.
